Welcome to Jean Zawicki Designs. I hope you will enjoy browsing through our selection of books and pattern packets. I'll include new designs as they are created along with our "Oldies but Goodies". Home Videos covering painting a Santa Face, fruit, flowers and rubber stamping ideas are also available.Books and packets contains detailed line drawings, complete written instruction and color photographs of the finished pieces. I also try to include the most important painting subjects of each book in the step-by-step pages to help make your projects more sucessful if they are needed.

Beginner painters will appreciate the "General Information" at the beginning of each of my books. I try to cover basics so that you will be able to create similar finished projects. Even experienced painters may discover a new helpful hint or two. Each book has 1-2 step-by-step pages that cover some of the subjects and techniques used in that book. These visual aids also have a written explanation of the steps for each subject covered on the page opposite the color pictures.

It has been extremely gratifying for me to be able to share my love of decorative art with fellow painters. I hope you enjoy painting these projects as much as I've enjoyed creating them. It has been a wonderful 35+ years of sharing new designs and techniques with you through my books, packets and videos. I've especially enjoyed teaching decorative painting classes in my earlier studios. Currently, I'm travel teaching nationally and now can have limited private or semi-private sessions here in my studio in Florida. It always warms my heart to hear someone say, "I paint with your video and I feel like we're painting together!" It's "almost" as good as actually painting WITH you! For me there is no greater joy than to hear YOU'RE having sucess AND enjoyment through my work.
